What tech do I need to join the course?
When will the course start?
We run both AM (9.15am start) and PM (1.30pm start) sessions. You will need to log on 15 minutes before the course starts for our technical adviser to make sure everyone has access.
Is there anything I should do before the course?
There are no pre-study requirements before any of our courses, but it is a good idea to go through your objectives with your manager. We do also recommend joining our pre-course trial sessions to make sure you encounter no technology issues. These run with one of our technical advisers at 2.30pm each Tuesday and Thursday. Details will be supplied in your joining instructions.
How will the course material and manuals be delivered?
Everything will be delivered by courier to your preferred address.
I’m not in the UK – how will my materials and manual be delivered?
We can have them couriered to you as well, however, there may be a shipping charge. It may also be easier for you to return any exam papers or loan manuals yourself rather than us arrange the collection from a third country.
Will there be breaks?
Yes, our trainers will break up the training with a series of short 15 minute breaks.
Do I need to download any software?
No, we use web-based training software. All you need is a computer with internet access, a camera and microphone.
I’m not tech savvy, will I still be able to access the classroom?
Yes, the course is extremely easy to access. Before the training we will send you a link to the online classroom, it takes less than three clicks to access. We recommend joining our pre-course trial sessions in the weeks before the course to check your technical setup. Details of these will be in your joining instructions. There will also be an engineer to help you with any issues you may have.
